Thoroughly wash and dry your apple. Peel it if desired.

Cut in half.

Halve the halves.

With your knife, carefully remove the core by making a diagonal cut. Start at the top of where you see the core on the side of the apple slice and make diaganal downward cut. Repeat with all pieces.

Apple slices should have a smooth flat surface where the core used to be.

Flip the slices over and cut them in half lengthwise.

Slice into quarters. Boom! Diced apples.
