MAKE IT LEGENDARY: SPICY APRICOT GINGER SAUCE.

This is a very versatile sauce. It can be used as a dip for Corn Fritters or any other sort of savory appetizer. It also makes for a great glaze for both pork and chicken. It has the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spice
LOOT: 1 CUP
MATS.
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup apricot preserves
1 tbsp jalapeno, minced
1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
pinch of salt and pepper
EQUIPMENT.
saucepan
microplane
knife
fire
STRAT.
1.) Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan. Add the minced garlic and cook until it just starts to brown and become fragrant, about 1 minute.
2.) Add the apricot preserves, jalapeno, grated ginger, garlic powder, and pinch of salt and pepper. Heat until it just starts to simmer, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve warm as a dipping sauce, or use it as a yummy glaze for chicken or pork.
